Accreditation and Certifications
The Institute for Addiction Education (IAE) has been providing the behavioral healthcare community with career education programs, professional seminars, and continuing education for nearly two decades. We strive to provide a broad range of required and elective courses to fulfill state requirements and broaden your professional knowledge with the ultimate goal of improving outcomes for the people you serve. Below is a list of approved accreditations.
Illinois Certification Board
IAE is approved by Illinois Certification Board
National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)
IAE has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No.7499. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. IAE is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Florida Certification Board

NAADAC, the national organization for addiction professionals approval covers CEUs for addiction professionals in AL, AK, AZ, AR, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NC, ND, NM, NY, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WI, WV, WY and Iowa. NAADAC, the national organization for addiction professionals approval covers precertification (LCDC/CAC) training for addiction professionals AL, AK, AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, HI, ID, IA, MD, MI, MS, NC, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, VT, WV.
